Integration Into Busy Schedules
Our MSOT program’s weekend format requires students to be on campus five weekends each 10-week academic term and participate online during alternate weeks. Students following the program structure as outlined may complete the program in 10 terms or approximately two years. This flexibility allows working professionals to achieve their goals without pausing their careers.
Hands-on Clinical Training
Occupational therapy master’s programs that successfully equip students for advancement in their profession incorporate learning by doing. After completing all classroom training on campus and online and Level I Fieldwork off campus, students enter the community for Level II Fieldwork. Two full-time, 12-week Level II Fieldwork experiences give students many opportunities to apply classroom training in real-world situations.
Adaptable Skills
Registered occupational therapists must apply a range of skills in unique situations every day. While knowledge of best practices is crucial, we emphasize adaptable abilities so our students can better serve their clients’ needs and foster their independence. Because every client has a diverse set of challenges and circumstances, OTRs must leverage their versatility to evaluate, develop, and deploy individual treatment plans for each client.
